Speed up your workflow with the Philips SpeechLive Desktop App!

The Philips SpeechLive Desktop App lets you convert your voice to text in real time into any application on your PC. Use a microphone, place the cursor in any text field or document, and start dictating. With the SpeechLive Desktop App you can for example dictate an email, create a word document, leave notes in your CRM, or send a chat message without typing.

Here is how to get started:

Download the SpeechLive Desktop App here and install the program on your PC.

Log in with your Philips SpeechLive credentials.

Click the red microphone button, place your cursor where you would like the text to populate – like an Email or Word document, and begin speaking. The text will appear where you placed the cursor.

You can also control the microphone button (turning it on and off) with the “+” on your keyboard. The Philips SpeechLive Desktop app supports 22 languages, allowing you to switch the language in the app settings at any time.

The small SpeechLive Desktop application window will sit on your screen and can be hidden in the background if preferred.

Note for authors only:
The SpeechLive Desktop App also functions to upload recorded dictations to Philips SpeechLive and can be configured to auto-upload recordings from your supported recording device. Automatic upload is supported for all Philips PocketMemo recorders as well as Olympus DS-9500, DS-9000, DS-7000 and DS-5000.

To be able to use the SpeechLive Desktop App, you need to enable the speech-to-text add-on which is available for the Philips SpeechLive Pro or Philips SpeechLive Enterprise subscription packages.
