A game changer for your speech recognition strategy

With the evolution of technology, businesses are continually seeking solutions that streamline their processes, enhance collaboration, and maximize productivity.

Philips SpeechExec Enterprise is a collaborative digital dictation and speech recognition solution that connects authors with transcriptionists and office teams. The latest version of Philips SpeechExec Enterprise 8.5 Dictation and Transcription Solution is designed to transform the way organizations create and share documents. Version 8.5 integrated with Nuance Dragon Legal Anywhere, allows legal professionals to use specialized legal vocabulary for maximum speech recognition accuracy.

What’s new:

Deferred correction: Whether you are dictating directly into the software using a Philips microphone or converting recorded files from a voice recorder, built-in specialized legal vocabulary delivers optimal recognition accuracy. Authors can avoid the tiresome task of reviewing by automatically sending the recognized text together with the audio file to their assistant for easy deferred correction and proofreading. This advancement expedites the documentation process, making it a game-changer for busy professionals.

Compatibility with the Nuance Dragon Speech Recognition 16: Philips SpeechExec Enterprise version 8.5 now fully supports Dragon speech recognition version v16.

Speech recognition profile adaptation for transcriptionists: Correct and adapt audio files via the author’s profile to improve speech recognition. The implementation of the new SpeechKit SDK syncs corrections done by the transcriptionist with the author’s speech recognition profile.

Audio playback for authors: Replay the dictated audio file before sending it to the transcriptionist. The author can now place their cursor anywhere within the transcribed text to play back the recording.

Audio/text synchronization for transcriptionists: Synchronize the audio position with the text. The transcriptionist can control the audio playback using their Philips foot control. When the transcriptionist pauses the playback, the cursor does not update its location in the transcribed text. The synchronization of the cursor and playback bar only occurs when the transcriptionist clicks on a point in the transcribed text. The playback bar then updates its position within the audio to match the location of the cursor in the correction editor thus ensuring the audio playback begins from the cursor position.

Audio counter: Track the duration of the audio file.

Advanced document template management for offline speech recognition: In order, to make speech recognition more efficient for authors users have the ability to use pre-defined templates. This feature is ideal for those who dictate documents where only certain parts of the document need to be amended.

In conclusion, SpeechExec Enterprise 8.5 offers an array of powerful features that are tailored to meet the evolving needs of businesses and professionals. From centralized workflow management to advanced speech recognition integration, this software elevates dictation and transcription processes to new heights of productivity and efficiency. With its emphasis on data security and seamless integration, SpeechExec Enterprise 8.5 emerges as a game-changer for organizations seeking to enhance their workflow management and dictation practices.

Please note that the combination of SpeechExec Enterprise with Dragon speech recognition is currently only available in the United States.
